Yellowstone is amazing. Every time we turn around we see something beautiful. Everyone must go. My superlatives would quickly become boring but as a city person driving through mountain passes, accompanying wildlife, many georgeous waterfalls, it feels like another day in paradise. We have had an elk with a full rack of antlers walk through our camping area. Bison are everywhere. Hawk and perhaps eagles have been flying through the passes. We have had sunny days but quite cool. We have figured out how to handle nights that go down to the 20's. The evening and mornings are cold. Next time I take a trip like this I will use a 0 degree rated sleeping bag. But we are having a great time..Pictures will eventually follow. We are experiencing some tech problems. Tomorrow we go to the Grand Teton. We decided that tent camping in Glacier National Park will be too cold. After the Tetons we will travel through Idaho and work our way to the Portland area. We will thengo up the coast to Olympia National Park and possibly Vancouver. We will figure it out as we go. This is an amazing adventure! Next blog post may be in another week.
