Day 1
On the road! We ran into construction all the way to the Wisconsin border.  After that, clear sailing to Winona, Minnesota. Oh, we missed a toll in Belvedere, Illinois because of construction.  No biggie, we can pay on line.  We have a lot of time to observe drivers. While in the construction zone, a car sat in the left lane traveling at the posted speed,  55.  Cars and trucks started crowding in behind him weaving in and out.  We are waiting until we are far enough west were there is no traffic.  Our friend Tom said that he had that experience traveling to Yellowstone.

Weather forcast is thunderstorms tomorrow all the way to Sioux Falls, our next stop. Deep sigh. You never know what will happen on road trips.
