North Cascade Park is drop dead beautiful. The twists and turns on the road have taken us to towering mountains, blue-green lakes, and peaceful valleys. The mountains have glaciers in all directions. This is not a tourist area but we have a great winery next door to us., Glacier Peak. Tomorrow we travel through the rest of this park and work our way to Glacier National Park. We will be staying in a cabin in the park by Lake McDonald. We will see how camping works out. We are running into a lot of rain or cold. After Glacier we hope to camp at the next park, Teddy Roosevelt Park. It would nice to get some more time camping. We are happy and having a wonderful time. All the same, it will be great to see everyone back home.
